introduction to mushroom identification, followed by a trail hike to
collect various species. End by classifying the collected specimens with

Lake Sunapee Chowder Challenge -
Restaurants and
caterers from throughout the Lake Sunapee region present their "secret
recipes" for public sampling ~ competing in the annual "Chowdah
Challenge". Chowder sampling and judging by attendees, music,
children's activities and more! The best of the best is decided when the votes are
tabulated!
The event is hosted by the Sunapee PTO in conjunction with the
Lake Sunapee Region Chamber
of Commerce with
proceeds benefiting the Sunapee PTO.
