The Woodsum Steamboat Company - A slide show presented by Ron Garceau, publisher of SooNipi Magazine, about the history of the Woodsum Steamboat Company - which operated on Lake Sunapee from 1876 until 1928. The Pilot House of the Kearsarge is on display at the Sunapee Historical Museum located on Main Street in the Harbor.

Our Annual Holiday Parade - not just Red, White, and Blue! This year, we’re adding Green! That’s right! Join your fellow town folk at 11:00 am at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church as we celebrate America’s proud agricultural heritage and today’s green, Earth-friendly movement toward sustainable lifestyles and environmentally friendly practices! The parade winds through the Harbor, where intersections will be blocked - as neighbors, friends, and visitors alike enjoy our long Sunapee tradition of celebrating Independence Day. Even if you don’t have a float, come join us on the parade route to cheer on our neighbors! There will be an award for the best float, celebrating this year’s “Our Green Sunapee – An Earth Friendly Community” theme.

Parade Route: Beginning at St. Joachim's Church (route 11) > up Central Street > onto Main Street > into the Harbor > along River Road > to High Street > across Main Street > and back down Central Street > ending back at St. Joachim's parking lot.

The Tammy Jackson Band - Sunapee Harbor is "home" for Tammy Jackson and Cliff Clegg, one of the finest musical duos in the Northeast and fronts for the sensational “Tammy Jackson Band”. They tour extensively through the country as both a duo and with the band - winners of the 1995 Country Music Association Award in Las Vegas. Their country-flavored original music is a refreshing backdrop to their performances of an eclectic mix of rock, blues, oldies and country.

14th Running of the Horror at Harding Hill Road Mountain Bike Race - Hosted by the Sunapee Lion's Club. This EFTA Sponsored and Championship Points Race is a great event for everyone who enjoys the rough and tumble of mountain bike racing. Categories include Novice, Sport and Expert with Divisions based on age and gender. The location is the in the field back of the Webb Forest Logging area (where you park your car) just off of Harding Hill Road about 1/2 mile down from either Route 103 or Stagecoach Road in Sunapee. Registration starts on the hillside near the Start/Finish Line where there will be tents set up for handling the riders, providing food and drink, help with your bike and all sorts of other fun. Sponsors provide medals and awards with some cash awards to Expert Riders and a special prize to the fastest man and woman in the race. Registration starts around 8 am and there will be a free kids race (under 13) starting at 8 am. All 3 race categories and divisions are in a mass start at 10 am with 5 minutes between each category. Aline's focus is on understanding color through exploration of values and shapes created by the play of light in nature.
